Off the resort, guests can visit the shops and galleries along the cobbletone streets of Altos de Chavon, a cliff-side replica of a 16th century Spanish village. Guests wishing to snorkel or dive at the islands of Saona and Catalina will find both stops about twenty minutes away. The resort is also adjacent to the Eastern National Park Reserve, an excellent facility to explore nature at.
