Meet caregivers and Ixtapa's dolphins

Your Ixtapa swim with dolphins takes place near El Palmar beach, where the dolphinarium located in this convenient spot has been in operation for more than a decade. You'll meet a dedicated staff of dolphin trainers and caregivers who will introduce you to their favorite sea mammals with an overview on who the dolphins are and how they behave. Once you've been briefed, you'll get into the warm waters they call home for a 45-minute encounter.Enjoy belly rides and foot pushes

During your swim with dolphins in Ixtapa adventure, enjoy four different activities with a dolphin who loves interacting with people. You'll receive a kiss (with a chance to smile for the cameras) and shake your dolphin's fin before it's time for the fun to begin. Grab hold of his fins and ride his belly as he swims backward through the water, taking you along. He'll also give you a foot push with his long nose, pushing your feet through the water as he swims. Programs are available for babies, kids, families, couples and more. Professional photos are available for purchase at the end of your dolphin swim.

Recommendation

• Wear swimsuit, comfortable clothing and footwear
• Bring hat, sunglasses, camera and biodegradable sunblock
• Bring money for drinks, snacks, souvenirs and transportation (tipping is optional)
• For safety reasons, cameras are not allowed in any of the pool areas; however, a professional team of photographers will be on hand to capture those amazing memories for you
• Please arrive to the Delfiniti Dolphin Center 30 minutes before your scheduled swim
• Please note: Do not apply any sunblock until after the completion of your program
