About Braco Horse Ride and Swim

Enjoy the warm, clear waters of the Caribbean Sea in a totally unique way—on horseback! First, your friendly local guide will take you from the stables to the scenic countryside, where they’ll tell you about the scenery and regale you in stories about the area. You’ll even get a glimpse of an old, abandoned airstrip that was built during World War II. The trail will then take you down the north coastline to a private beach, where you’ll get to lead your horse into those beautiful turquoise waters. Finally, you’ll get to tour gardens brimming with pimento trees, bougainvillea and fishtail palms; and you’ll get to lounge with a cool drink in hand while you try and spot hummingbirds buzzing among the orchids.

Recommendation

Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for horseback riding, as well as swimwear and water shoes. Bring a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen and cash or credit card for gift items, photos, souvenirs and snacks. Minimum age: 6 years old. Weight limit: 220 lbs. Not accessible for pregnant women. Not accessible for persons with back or neck problems. Not wheelchair accessible. Transfer time is approx 1.5 hrs per way.
