$4.5 Million Renovation Completed!
The Sands at Grace Bay has completed its $4.5 million renovation, which includes an array of redesigned spaces and new accents. Among them are a gracious new open-air lobby with polished mahogany, sweeping paddle fans and comfortably overstuffed chairs, as well as elegantly redesigned suites. Each suite has been refinished with ample travertine baths, stainless kitchen appliances and granite countertops, sumptuous bedding and other soft goods. In addition to the above enhancements, the resort's Hemingway's Beachfront Restaurant has added a retractable awning, offering guests additional shade from the sun and a more enjoyable open-air dining experience. A newly installed theater in the resort's main swimming pool will keep guests warm during the cooler months, and the resort has installed an environmentally friendly Bionest wastewater treatment system to irrigate the resort grounds and gardens.The resort has also added stand-up paddleboards to its complimentary amenities.

The Sands at Grace Bay is an intimate, all-suites beachfront resort that offers a select variety of on-site facilities and amenities. Located along one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean - Grace Bay, the resort features two stunning free-form pools flowing throughout the central garden courtyard connected by canals. The pools are adorned by a cascading waterfall, a relaxing Jacuzzi and small grottoes. An additional circular swimming pool can be found beachside.
Hemingway’s Restaurant and Bar offers beachside dining from 8:00am to 10:00pm seven days a week. Enjoy al fresco, casual dining on the deck or open-air patio, virtually steps away from the beach. Island dishes are combined with traditional favorites. Selections range from light fare, gourmet sandwiches and salads to specialty entrees. A decadent dessert menu completes the offering. On Tuesday evenings, Hemingway’s hosts Caribbean Night accompanied by live music.
Guests have the opportunity to experience a multitude of water and sport activities at The Sands at Grace Bay. To fully appreciate what Grace Bay Beach has to offer, the resort provides free use of kayaks, wind surfing equipment, snorkeling gear, Hobie Cats and stand-up paddle boards. Bicycles are available with the resort's compliments for touring the area, and tennis is played on an all-weather court and is lighted for night play. Rounding out resort offerings are a fitness center, a spa and an on-site dive shop providing several scuba diving packages.

Guests indulge in an array of classic spa specialties such as massages, facials and body wraps. Experienced in various massage techniques including Swedish, Therapeutic, Reflexology and Hot Stone, patrons can choose from existing spa packages and add enhancements to custom-tailored treatments. Couples massage and private treatments en suite are also available. The spa is open from 9:00am to 7:00pm, seven days a week and treatments are by appointment.

Perched on the scenic shore of Grace Bay Beach, Hemingway's beachfront restaurant offers a casual atmosphere and elegant open air dining, complemented by a menu full of choices that are anything but ordinary.
Resort guests and morning beach-walkers are drawn to the beautiful view on the deck and enjoy breakfasts including cinnamon raison French toast or huevos rancheros with fresh black bean salsa on a lightly seasoned tortilla. There's also everything in between from fresh fruit to traditional eggs benedict.
Hemingway's is equally irresistible for lunch, serving an array of gourmet sandwiches, entree salads and specialties such as soft fish tacos, mango shrimp salad and Caribbean jerk chicken & chips. Named one of Caribbean Journal's "Best Beach Bars in Turks & Caicos", sweet tooths will be tempted with choices ranging from key lime pie with a graham cracker crust to fried ice-cream with cinnamon, powdered sugar and chocolate sauce.
A dinner favorite is the fresh grouper - lightly spiced and pan seared, served with a tequila sauced veggie salsa with charred onions, black beans, corn, carrots and red and green peppers. For another seafood choice, try the exquisite lightly sauteed shrimp with delicious pesto cream over penne pasta. For the gourmet palate, try the filet mignon grilled with a fragrant red wine mushroom sauce. Also ask your server about the Catch of the Day.
Delicious appetizers include Conch (pronounced "conk") fritters, Conch chowder, and Cuban black bean soup.
Hemmingways is open daily from 8:00am to 10:00pm.
Do Your Own Thing
The full kitchens in the one, two, and three-bedroom suites provide the convenience to prepare any meal. Guests can enjoy a home-cooked meal miles away from home. Grocery shopping is made easy with a daily shuttle service into town with two pick up times. For last-minute snacks, a convenience store is located on the resort property.

The main attraction here is obviously the breathtaking shore of Grace Bay Beach, world renowned as one of the most strikingly beautiful in the Caribbean. The dramatic multi-level and interconnected pool complex is another favorite of guests. A variety of water sports are available on the beach, and an on-site PADI certified dive shop can make any arrangements that you desire. Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, windsurfing equipment, snorkeling gear, stand-up paddleboards and Hobie Cats. Bicycles are also complimentary, and allow the exploration of the beautiful surroundings of Grace Bay.
Scuba Diving
Providenciales is world-renowned for its scuba diving. The healthy barrier reef surrounding the island is home to millions of corals and tropical fish. Underwater companions often include dolphins, hawksbill turtles, manta rays, barracudas, octopus and nurse sharks. Arranging excursions is made easy through the on-site dive shop. Additionaly, two marinas are only 10 minutes away. The on-site dive shop is open from Monday to Saturday, 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
Tennis
Tennis is played on an all-weather court from 6:00am to 11:00pm and is lighted for night play. Racquets are provided when guests reserve their court time at the front desk. Tennis balls are for sale at the resort's convenience store. Private lessons are available to guests who want to improve their game!
Indoor Fitness Center
Guests who want to stay in shape during their vacation can visit the fitness center daily between the hours of 6:00am and 11:00pm. The gym houses step machines, stationary bikes and treadmills.
Golf Available
The Sands at Grace Bay is ideally located within a two-minute drive to the 18-hole, 72-par championship course at Provo Golf Club. The Club has a reputation as one of the best and most challenging golf courses in the Caribbean. A four-tee position system ensures that this course is a challenge for golfers of all calibers. Golf lessons can be arranged by appointment. Twelve-acres of inland lakes and marsh, a West Indies-style clubhouse, Fairways Bar and Grill and a Pro Shop make this Club a must-see for avid and curious golfers.

Choose Grace Bay Beach or a tropical poolside gazebo for your ceremony, and Hemingway's deck is the perfect spot for the perfect reception as you start your lives together shared by family and friends. Both beach location and Hemingway's can accommodate groups of up to 40. The enchanting poolside gazebo offers views of the tropically landscaped pool and patio and is perfect for an intimate wedding, accommodating up to 20 persons.

"Let's Go For It" Wedding Package
Package includes all the offerings featured in the basic “Let’s Say I Do†package, with the addition of a specially priced local photography package and a relaxing bride & groom spa package. This package is ideal for couples looking to capture the memories of their intimate beach wedding ceremony with beautiful photography, and relax with a variety of “his & hers†spa treatments either before or after the wedding celebration.
Must book an oceanview studio or higher room category. Pricing based on 10 people attending the wedding. Each additional person is $25.
