The Riu Vallarta offers a prime beachfront location overlooking the Pacific Ocean on Playa de Flamingos beach. Guests of all ages will enjoy two pools (each with an integrated Jacuzzi), a separate pool for the kids plus a mini-club and playground for children 4 to 12 years of age. A full service spa and beauty salon and a well-equipped fitness center provide a special place for the ongoing fitness of mind, body and soul. Guests will enjoy 24 hour food and beverage service along with a variety of excellent dining venues and lounges and, additionally, may use the facilities at sister resort, Riu Jalisco.

Important Information
- Additional services including additional decorations, floral arrangements, food and beverages and live music can be added; prices vary.
- The bride and groom and witnesses (if required) need to be in destination at least three full business days prior the wedding for Civil ceremonies and two full business days for Religious ceremony.
- Only the Civil ceremony is legally recognized. A Religious ceremony has no legal bearing and does not replace in any way the binding Civil Marriage. Once the Civil Ceremony is over, the couple receives a copy of the marriage licence and the original is sent within 5 - 6 months directly to your home (please note that the Mexican Government can take longer to send these documents). Once the documents are received you should translate them into English and take them to City Hall for legalization.
- Religious ceremonies or Renewal of Vows are symbolic. They are performed by a Non-Denominational Minister. The bride and groom will receive a symbolic marriage certificate without legal bearing.
*Please note that in Mexico Riu does not arrange Catholic ceremonies; a non-denominational minister is used. - Room upgrades are to the next level above your booked room, however upgrades are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
- In order to have a wedding at Riu Hotels & Resorts, the couple and at least 80 percent of the total number of wedding guests must stay at the hotel where the wedding will be performed, otherwise it will be canceled. This is a strict RIU policy.
- Wedding guests not staying at the resort must purchase a Day Pass.
