Riu Palace Peninsula
Tthe architecturally stunning all-inclusive beachfront Riu Palace Peninsula is located in Cancun's main hotel zone and features extensive, lush gardens with on-site Mayan ruins, discovered during the hotel construction. Guests may choose from beautifully appointed Junior suites or one of the Villa Suites located in the 3-story Adults-Only Deluxe Villas section. Guests also enjoy daytime access to the facilities of the adjacent Hotel Riu Caribe.
Located in Cancun's trendy resort area, close to major shopping centers and just 2.5 miles from downtown Cancun and 13 miles from the Cancun International Airport. Riu Palace Peninsula guests may use the facilities at sister property Riu Caribe next door during the day, including snack bars and buffet restaurants. In addition, guests may use facilities at nearby Riu Palace Las Americas and Riu Cancun (transportation not included). À la carte restaurant dining is not included in the program.

This impressive highrise Riu Palace Peninsula boasts four distinctive pool areas with sun loungers and sunning decks, one with swim-up bar and adjoining Jacuzzi, one heated in winter and one pool exclusively for clients staying in Adults Only Deluxe Villas section. Plus kids will find a children's pool specially designed for them as well. You'll find a wide selection of restaurants and lounges including the chic, gourmet Krystal Restaurant and all new lobby bar with pâtisserie and ice cream parlor. Guests can take advantage of the full-service Renova Spa, a fitness room, a supervised children's club and a spectacular private white sand beach. The resort features a wide variety of luxury facilities and amenities and nightly entertainment in addition to access to adjacent Riu Caribe facilities during the day. Riu Palace Peninsula also has an ATM available to withdraw Mexican Pesos, as it is not possible to exchange U.S. Dollars on site.

The health and beauty spa, Renova Spa, with complimentary men's and women's saunas and four-person spa tub, offers massage, body treatments, facials, hair and nail care. (All spa and beauty services and treatments are additional.)
A well-equipped fitness room contains cardio and weight machines and is complimentary for resort guests.
The use of the gym, Jacuzzi and steam bath is complimentary and is restricted to guests over 18 years of age.

Important Information
- Additional services including additional decorations, floral arrangements, food and beverages and live music can be added; prices vary.
- The bride and groom and witnesses (if required) need to be in destination at least three full business days prior the wedding for Civil ceremonies and two full business days for Religious ceremony.
- Only the Civil ceremony is legally recognized. A Religious ceremony has no legal bearing and does not replace in any way the binding Civil Marriage. Once the Civil Ceremony is over, the couple receives a copy of the marriage licence and the original is sent within 5 - 6 months directly to your home (please note that the Mexican Government can take longer to send these documents). Once the documents are received you should translate them into English and take them to City Hall for legalization.
- Religious ceremonies or Renewal of Vows are symbolic. They are performed by a Non-Denominational Minister. The bride and groom will receive a symbolic marriage certificate without legal bearing.
*Please note that in Mexico Riu does not arrange Catholic ceremonies; a non-denominational minister is used. - Room upgrades are to the next level above your booked room, however upgrades are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
- In order to have a wedding at Riu Hotels & Resorts, the couple and at least 80 percent of the total number of wedding guests must stay at the hotel where the wedding will be performed, otherwise it will be canceled. This is a strict RIU policy.
