An independently owned dive shop on-site offers scuba-diving instruction and dives along the reef, including sunken-ship and night dive excursions (surcharges apply).The dive shop also offers jet skis, parasailing, sunset cruises and fishing trips (surcharges apply).

The activity pool is a three-level, freeform pool with its highest level behind a waterfall under a dome open-air pavilion adjoining a ten-person jetted spa. The "quiet" pool is adjacent to the children's pool, which features a mushroom-shaped shower. Elevated above is a six-person spa that has sensational views of the sea.

Ocean Tours Water Sports is located on the beach at El Cozumeleno and offers a wide variety of services for resort guests, such as scuba diving and deep sea fishing trips, jet skis, and parasailing, all at an additional cost. Divers can enjoy unlimited shore diving when they purchase a two day-two tank, dive package.

There is a lovely plaza next to the indoor pool with a colorful ceramic fountain, plus a giant black-and-white chess set with pieces the size of chidren.

Cozumel Country Club is directly across the street from the resort and has an outstanding 18-hole championship golf course designed by Nicklaus Design Group and Club Corp Latin America.This amazing course is a masterpiece sculpted through the Mayan jungle and around the mangroves offering a challenging experience to the serious golfer.
