About Arikok Hiking Tour

The Arikok Hiking Tour is the best way to discover the real Aruba! Nearly 20% of Aruba is a designated National Park and home to a long list of animal species and vegetable life. You'll have the chance to visit the Arikok National Park, a great place to enjoy dramatic landscapes.

The Visitors’ Center has a modern, sustainable design that houses an exhibit of Aruba’s endemic animals such as the Aruban Whiptail Lizard (Cododo), Aruban Cat Eye Snake (Santanero) and endangered rattle snake (Cascabel). Park rangers will escort you on this hike that showcases fascinating flora and fauna as well as interesting historical sites.

Discover priceless rare gems, indigenous to the island, such as the Aruban Burrowing Owl (Shoco), Aruban Rattlesnake, Aruban Whiptail Lizard, and Aruban Parakeet (Prikishi), who find this the perfect place to live along with the native flora and fauna supported by the protected, unusual land formations made from lava, quartz diorite and limestone.
