Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort
Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa is located in La Fortuna de San Carlos, in the middle of the rainforest. This unique 103-room Costa Rican property offers luxurious accommodations, an award-winning spa and friendly service in a magnificent tropical environment near the base of Arenal Volcano. The resort is situated in a lush setting with twelve natural hot spring pools and lagoons, thermal pools, exotic gardens and trails. Dining is open-air and includes a signature gala dinner in a private rainforest bungalow with private chef and server. Decor throughout the resort showcases art and furniture designed and crafted by Central American artisans. Guests enjoy unlimited access to Tabacon Hot Springs during their stay.

Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa is a 740-acre paradise situated at the foot of the Arenal Volcano. Adults Only Pool and Garden Area
Tabacon has introduced their new Shangri-La Gardens as a haven for adults to escape and relax. The secret garden setting is a peaceful retreat that features six natural volcano-heated river pools and a thermal waterfall. It is lit with torches that spotlight the new chaise lounge furnishings
and butlers serve a menu of Asian and Latin tapas, as well as specialty cocktails and martinis.
World-Renowned SPA
The Spa has 10 outdoor treatment bungalows, an extensive menu of indigenous and therapeutic treatments and an open-air Yoga Studio and capitalizes on its hot springs location with volcanic mud wraps and rinses in outdoor river pools, mineral water treatments, coffee and coconut scrubs and massage with volcanic stones. Features include individual's bungalows, couple's bungalows and an all-day bungalow suite (including meals and treatments) for adults or families.

Choose from casual buffet dining or elegant a la carte fine-dining, both with magnificent open-air ambience. Room service is available, provided by Los Tucanes Restaurant.
Ave del Paraiso Restaurant
Casual dining located in the resort's hot springs and garden area. Some tables offer direct volcano views.
An extensive lunch menu features salads, sandwiches and light entrees. Dinners are served buffet style. While the salad, pasta and dessert bars are staples in the evening service, main courses vary according to the day's theme. Daily selections always feature at least three main courses, hot and cold side dishes and grilled selections.
Ave del Paraiso also offers a Spa Menu, a selection of light meals for those preferring lighter fare.
Hours: Lunch a la carte from 11:00am to 4:30pm. Buffet dinner from 5:00pm to 9:30pm.
Los Tucanes Restaurant
Features exquisite, first-class dining in a relaxed setting. Located on the hotel grounds and bordered by the rainforest, this welcoming and intimate restaurant serves a tropical breakfast buffet and a la carte dinners. Live music provides a lively yet cozy atmosphere, complemented by the sounds of water flowing into the hot springs pools.
